Kids Seasonal Programs
With an emphasis on technique, we provide a fun learning environment for your child to build solid skills that they will utilize throughout a lifetime of snowsports.

Lessons that grow with your child
Our progressive multi-week youth programs are grouped by age and discipline, and allow for group placement for different ability levels and personal goals within each program.

Skiwees
Ensure a strong start and a love for the slopes for 3-4 year-olds.

Mad Wolf
Mad Wolf provides strong foundational skills for 4-6 year olds that they will use throughout a lifetime of skiing.

Wolverines
Wolverines is our seasonal program for skiers aged 7-14, focusing on developing techniques and empowering skiers on new types of terrain.

Club Shred
Club Shred is our signature lesson program intended for riders ages 7 - 14, snowboarding at all levels.

Rippers
Big Sky Rippers is our most advanced seasonal program, designed for expert skiers and riders looking to progress their skills.

December Park Session
This early-season terrain park lesson program provides kids aged 8-14 the opportunity to build terrain park safety and skills.
2025-26 Seasonal Program Dates
December Sessions: December 6-7 and 13-14, 2025 (not available for Rippers or Club Shred)
Session 1: January 1 - February 6, 2026
Session 2: February 19 - March 29, 2026

Creating a Positive Environment
From focusing on technique at the foundational levels to principles of safety and camaraderie at older ages, our instructors establish values and skills that kids will take into their futures of skiing and snowboarding.

Continuous Improvement
Building the skills to ski or snowboard for a lifetime takes time. Our seasonal programs allow for progression week after week and year after year, giving kids the chance to spend their days on the mountain and new accomplishments to look forward to.

A Legacy of Learning
Led by child-certified instructors, our seasonal programs have been fostering community on the mountain for over 40 years. Providing programs for both skiers and riders of all ages, we pride ourselves on helping families share the love of the mountain.
Seasonal Program Details
A coordinator will contact you to answer your questions and provide more details on each program following your enrollment.
Program registration is non-transferable. No make-up sessions are offered for missed days.
Lift tickets are not included with private or group lessons. A lift ticket or valid season pass is required for all lesson participants. Including Sno-Go lessons.
In the winter, discounted lift tickets are available to children (7-14) in group lessons. These discount tickets are available to add-on to your lesson when adding the product to your cart or by contacting us.
In the summer, if you do not have a bike and bike haul lift ticket and want to take a group lesson, purchase the downhill group lesson package. This half-day lesson option includes a bike rental and bike haul ticket for the duration of your lesson.
For season-long access to the mountain, we recommend the Gold or Black pass for kids in our seasonal lesson programs.
If you choose to purchase a Blue or Freestyle pass, keep in mind that blackout dates apply to those passes that might conflict with lesson dates. If your child needs an extra lift ticket on a blackout day, you can purchase a discounted add-on ski school lift ticket for those lesson days. These can be purchased over the phone or in-person from the Mountain Sports office.
We do not recommend the Twin Tips pass, as it has no overlap with seasonal lesson program dates.
Note that participants of the Rippers program are required to have Lone Peak Tram access. If your child's pass does not include tram access (passes other than the Gold Pass or with the Unlimited Tram Add-On) you may add it to their Rippers session for access on lesson days.
We have a variety of weekly lesson options for ages 3-14 in the winter called seasonal programs. We have classes once a week for 6 weeks or 2 consecutive weekends. For more information check out our Seasonal Programs page.
During the summer, we have weekly and multiday camp for ages 5-14. For more information check out our Youth Camps page.
Both winter and summer lessons sell out quickly, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. For lesson availability, please check our online store.
Please note that lift tickets and rentals are not included in these programs for either. We recommend purchasing a season pass. For more information on which winter pass, read this Help Center article - Which season pass should I buy for my child in a seasonal lesson program?
After purchasing your child's seasonal program, purchase them extra lessons online or by calling (800) 548-4486.
Only children enrolled in our seasonal programs can buy theses exclusive discounted group lessons based on availability.
