Summer Scenic Lift Pass Details
The scenic lift ride season pass gives you unlimited rides on Big Sky's scenic lift chairlifts, including the Lone Peak Tram and Kircliff access, throughout the entire summer season.
The Summer Scenic Lift Season Pass includes access to all our scenic lift chairlifts:
- Ramcharger 8
- Explorer Gondola
- Lone Peak Tram
All lifts can be ridden in either direction.
Big Sky Resort's on-mountain summer offerings are available from June 13 through September 13, 2026. The golf course is open May 15 through September 27, 2026.

Big Sky Resort season passes are non-transferable. Gold and Black passes get Buddy Tickets to share discounted winter lift tickets with friends and family.
To use your pass, sign your passholder waiver for the current year online and upload a new photo to your online account.
If you have reloaded an existing Sky Card, head straight to the lifts with last year's card. If you purchased a new Sky Card, scan the QR code in your confirmation email to print out your pass at any Sky Card Express Box. Available 24/7.
Big Sky Resort does not mail season passes. Boyne Resorts mails Boyne Passport passes.
No, Summer Scenic Lift Season Passes are only valid for scenic lift access.
The Explorer Gondola is wheelchair accessible in the summer and winter. In the summer, there is a paved pathway from the top of the Explorer Gondola to the base of the Tram that wheelchair users can access to ride the Tram up and down! In the winter, the Tram can only be accessed by sit skiers.
In the summer, well-trained pets are allowed on Big Sky Resort's hiking and cross-country bike trails. They must be under direct control at all times. Dogs are not allowed on downhill mountain biking trails.
Well-trained pets that are leashed and under direct control are allowed on the Explorer Gondola and Lone Peak Tram. The owner assumes all risks associated with bringing their pet on these lifts. Dogs are not allowed in Kircliff; the second floor of the tram.
Please pick up after your dog and be respectful to other guests on the mountain.
In the winter, dogs are not allowed on the mountain or on any lifts.
