Savor Big Sky: The food + wine event of the summer

The second annual food, wine, and spirits festival in the stunning alpine backdrop of Big Sky, Montana. Taking place from June 27 – 30, 2024, Savor Big Sky is a weekend-long celebration of the finest food and drinks from around the world. With events that combine fine food and beverage with Montana’s great outdoors, attendees will have the opportunity to sample from top wineries, distilleries, and breweries coupled with hiking excursions, scenic chairlift rides, and sweeping mountain vistas.

Elevated events at Big Sky Resort

Whether it's a hallmark concert, weekly wine night, holiday tradition, or performance sports competition, Big Sky always has something going on. Enjoy Peakside Pours, a complimentary sampling of wines or spirits accompanied by live music. Elevated Wellness also returns with cycling and yoga on the deck of Everett’s 8800, complete with epic views of Lone Peak.

Lone Peak Tram

Inaugural summer for the Lone Peak Tram

A completely reimagined scenic experience on the summit of Lone Peak offers guests a must-do activity during the summer season. Embark on the Lone Peak Expedition to summit the 11,166-foot Lone Mountain, the highest scenic overlook in Montana, with views of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, and Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. From the Mountain Village base area, guests will ride up the Swift Current chairlift and embark on the resort’s custom Lone Peak Expedition vehicle to the Lone Peak Tram. Lone Peak Expeditions are available starting July 4, and weekly from Friday – Sunday through September 15.

Mountain Biking in Big Sky

50+ miles of flowy forests + awe-insipiring vistas

Big Sky Resort offers 50+ miles of hiking and biking trails right out of Mountain Village, with connections into the backcountry and beyond. Big Sky’s lift-serviced downhill mountain biking has trails for all levels and abilities - from gutsy tech trails to flowy, mellow cruisers. Experience Swift Current terrain better than ever with all-new bike carriers on America's fastest 6-person chairlift. This summer, Swift Current 6, Ramcharger 8, and the Explorer lift operate for biking and scenic rides daily 10 am - 5 pm, from June 8 through September 15.

Golf in Big Sky

Tee off on Mountain Time

The Big Sky Resort Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course at 6,300 feet above sea level, offering spectacular views of Lone Peak. Big Sky’s only public golf course, which winds along the wildlife-rich banks of the West Fork of the Gallatin River, was designed by the late great Arnold Palmer. Don’t miss an al fresco meal at the Bunker Deck & Grill before or after heading out on the course. The Big Sky Golf Course is open daily from May 17 through September 29.

The ForeverProject is Big Sky Resort's sustainability roadmap to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
