Snow Report for Friday, December 6th
- Packed Powder
Snow Depth:26" Mid Mountain / 39" Upper Mountain
There are many adventures to be discovered by us all on Lone Peak. Skiers and riders find happiness and fulfillment in their own way. The Biggest Skiing in America means many things to many different people but at the end of the day it brings us all together, for the better.
Lone Peak is skiing marvelous. The winds have been light out of the north, northwest keeping the snow soft and fun. More terrain opened Thursday off of Challenger.
The Moonlight terrain area opens tomorrow with Derringer and Six Shooter scheduled to open. Pony Express and Iron Horse are now open.
In the forecast today, it’s going to be cloudy with a high of -3 and chances of snow showers throughout the day. Trace of snow at Lobo. Light winds from the North. Remember to stay warm, wear some extra layers and cover up your face from the brisk winter air.
To warm up, have a seat at The Summit Hotel’s Peaks restaurant for the Skiers Lunch:
$10.95 for a cup of soup and a half sandwich.
Cold temperatures will delay lifts from spinning at 9am this morning. Ski Patrol is working hard evaluating more terrain openings. Check the current conditions page for updates at www.bigskyresort.com/snow
Today is 20 Dollar Day, there’s no catch, seriously. A ticket to ride today is $20. It’s the best deal of the day; don’t miss out on the fun.
