Snow Report for Thursday, December 5th
- Packed Powder
Snow Depth:26" Mid Mountain / 39" Upper Mountain
Father Winter and Jack Frost are letting us know that they are here with gifts of beautiful powder snow and the crisp winter air (great for making snow). The storm that just passed by left us 14”, covering Lone Peak in her famous white dress and there is still plenty left. Delve into the Bowl or off Challenger to find deep pockets of pow and experience the white room. Seek sensational tree runs or carve into the groomers to get the taste of true perfection. The essence of winter is here and Lone Peak is just getting started. No one can ignore it either, a glimpse of her and one will feel snowflakes in their stomach . Today’s forecast is going to be mostly sunny with a high of -4 and a chance of snow showers after 11 AM with winds from the west at 3-8 mph. To properly enjoy the winter nip: bundle up from head to toe and look out for each other out there. Stop by Whiskey Jack’s for a hot beverage to warm up or even get a bite to eat as well for lunch or dinner, with their friendly Montana hospitality you’ll feel right at home.
