Master of the Mountain is a five week long program designed to provide participants the skills necessary to be more comfortable in the "off piste" powder, moguls, glades and ungroomed terrain.  It’s also a fun and exciting way to meet members of the surrounding Big Sky Community while socializing, developing and renewing friendships each winter.

The Master the Mountain (MTM-XII) was created to meet the needs of Big Sky Residents and those with extended Winter Stays in the area. The program will be offered as a weekday or weekend option.  The weekday program will run every Tuesday and Friday, January 7 - February 7, 2014 (8 sessions).  Sessions meet for three hours at a time. Participants may select AM or PM sessions.   The weekend program will run in the afternoon every Saturday January 4 - February 8, 2014.  Sessions meet for three hours at a time. 

To Register for Master The Mountain you  must have a minimum ability level of “Advanced Beginner” skiing skills and be comfortable on green level slopes such as Mr. K.  There are several groups, divided by skill level for compatibility.  Groups range from “Advanced Beginner” to “Expert Level” skiers.

Mountain Mamas - January 4 through February 8 and March 1 through April 5, 2014

Don't let your kids have all the fun. The mothers only Mountain Mamas clinics
are scheduled to coincide with drop off and pick up times for our youth local programs 
(Madwolf Explorers, Club Shred, Big Sky Rippers or Little Lobos) allowing you
to get great instruction and fun on the slopes while your kid's are shredding
the peak. Mountain Mamas starts 15 minutes after and ends 15 minutes before
kid's camps on Saturdays. Moms should be comfortable skiing a blue run (Level

Big Sky Guide Service

Take the opportunity to ski or snowboard with a Big Sky Guide. Find the hidden beauties or challenge yourself at Big Sky while skiing with a professional Guide/Instructor. Our focus is on a total mountain experience customized to your ability and expectations. Flexible scheduling available with a minimum of 3 hours.
