Chad Jones
Public Relations Manager
Big Sky Resort

Chad hails from the "Mountain State" of West Virginia. After growing up on the slopes of Canaan Valley and attending undergraduate in Ohio, Chad decided to head west for graduate school. Bitten by the winter sports bug early, graduate schools were chosen not only on academics but, more importantly, proximity to ski areas. The search lead Chad to the University of Montana to study Physical Anthropology and his two year graduate school turned into a much longer odyssey punctuated by snowboarding, fishing and other outdoor adventures that eventually led him to Big Sky. "It's amazing that I have found a way to be surrounded by what I love to do and be able to make a living." said Jones. "It could be easy to confuse our work from our play here at Big Sky, which is what makes it so great! I get to experience this place every day, all seasons.  It doesn't get much better than that."

Greer Schott
Public Relations & Special Events Coordinator
Big Sky Resort

Originally from Pennsylvania and New York, Greer grew up skiing the ice of the east.  But four years at Colorado College opened her up to the world of big mountains and big powder, and after a brief stint working in New York City upon graduation, Greer felt the pull of Montana’s Big Sky.  She packed up her car and drove back out west to live the ski life here, away from the crowds of New York City streets and busy Colorado lift lines.  “There’s so much terrain here, so much snow, and so much more time to enjoy it when you’re not waiting 20 or 30 minutes to get on a lift” says Greer.  “I traded in a big city for this small, friendly, active community.  Now when I look outside my office there's an 11,166-foot mountain instead of a 40-story skyscraper, and I love it!”
