Big Sky Resort

Originally from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Kipp grew up skiing on the boilerplate ice of the Southeast. After visiting the Rockies and falling in love with the insatiable feeling of skiing untracked powder, he knew right where he needed to be. With this in mind, it was an easy choice when it came to choosing a University to attend after high school; Montana State was the perfect fit. “It was kind of no brainer since where else can you ski a mountain as iconic as Lone Peak in the morning and still make your afternoon classes” says Kipp. “I can remember making the turn at the Conoco (before there was a traffic light) my first time visiting Big Sky, and seeing this massive 11,166-foot mountain outlined in the deepest, most beautiful blue I had ever seen. It was as if Lone Peak was beckoning me.  It was Love at first sight.”
