Big Sky Offers Up to 65% off Season Pass Prices

BIG SKY, Mont. — Big Sky Resort is excited to announce early season prices for 2012/2013 season passes, including an Adult Unlimited Gold Season Pass for $799* and a Student Unlimited Gold Season Pass for $599.  Junior Unlimited Gold Season Passes for kids ages 11-17 will be available for $299 - over 65% off of full price and the lowest Junior Season Pass price at Big Sky to date.

“For the past two years we’ve slashed our prices by 40%, and the community response has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Taylor Middleton, Big Sky Resort General Manager.  “Now we’re cutting junior prices even further, making it easier than ever for families to ski Big Sky together.”

The sale will run March 16^th through April 30^th and payment plans are available. Even more exciting, first-time pass holders will be able to enjoy skiing April 1^st – 15^th this season (April 2012) with a 2012/2013 Gold Unlimited Season Pass that is paid in full. 

Up to two Junior Passes are available at the $299 price when purchased in conjunction with a 2012/13 Adult Gold Unlimited Pass.  Junior passes are available at a discount of $599 without the purchase of an Adult Gold Unlimited Pass. 

Youth Passes for kids ages 6-10 are also on sale this year at a discounted rate of $49 when bought in conjunction with an Adult Gold Unlimited Pass.  Youth passes are available at a discount of $299 without the purchase of an Adult Gold Unlimited Pass.

“Season pass holders build the foundation for our success in the winter, and it’s important to keep skiing affordable for the people who are on Big Sky’s slopes the most,” said Meg O’Leary, Big Sky Resort Director of Sales and Marketing. “This sale does that - the breakeven point for a Gold Pass is only 10 days for adults, and only six days for juniors.”

With a payment plan, Gold Passes can be secured with only $260.02 down by April 30^th, with the remaining balances due in June and August.  Businesses may purchase the discounted passes in anticipation of staff next season by calling Big Sky Guest Services at 406-995-5749. 

The sale also includes an Adult Silver Pass for $649, and an Adult Bronze Pass for $299.
