Chamberlin Rail Jam Brings Hip Hop Phenom Atmosphere to Big Sky
1/16/12BIG SKY, Mont. — The Chamberlin Rail Jam moves to Big Sky Resort this March, bringing a weekend of rail competitions and live music acts on an outdoor stage to the Mountain Village. Headlining the event, Crystal Method will play the main stage Friday, March 2nd and Minneapolis hip hop group Atmosphere will play the main stage Saturday, March 3rd.
“Big Sky Resort and our terrain park crew have always been involved with the Chamberlin Rail Jam, building rails for the event in Bozeman each year,” said Big Sky Public Relations Manager Chad Jones. “This year we decided to deepen our partnership with Chamberlin Productions and host the event at the Resort, where we have the resources for terrain park features that go above and beyond, and perfect indoor and outdoor music venues to boot. With Atmosphere and Crystal method playing, this is going to be a huge event in the Mountain Village.”
Rail competitions will begin at 4:30pm both Friday and Saturday, followed by music acts on an outdoor stage including Ebola Syndrome and David Dalla G. Live music continues at after-parties inside each night with Steezy Wee, DJ Alto, DJ Danny Tellez, Skye Big Nation, Black Mask, Mac Lethal, Jawbone Railroad, and Mountain Grip.
Tickets to the Rail Jam are $20 and include access to all rail competitions and main stage events. After-party cover charges will range from $10-$15 at the door. Buy tickets and check out the full event schedule at therailjam.com.
