Big Sky Resort Wins Award for Best Bus Wrap4/09/12
BIG SKY, Mont. — Big Sky Resort’s new bus wrap on the Skyline Link Express Bus recently won the award for best transit graphics in the Federal Transit Administration’s Region 8. Region 8 includes Montana, North & South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.
The bus wrap was unveiled in January and features Lone Peak in summer on one side, and winter on the other. The photo used to choose the winner of the bus wrap award depicted the winter side with the smiling faces of people enjoying winter activities.
The wrap is a creation of the Big Sky Resort in-house marketing department: Michel Tallichet, graphic design & coordination; Glenniss Indreland, Art Director; Lyndsey Owens, Account Management; Chad Jones, Jim Nygard and Lonnie Ball, photography. SCS Vinylworks of Bozeman installed the vinyl.
The Skyline Link Express Bus runs between Bozeman and Big Sky eight times daily during peak seasons. The service demonstrates both Big Sky Resort and the Big Sky Transportation District’s dedication to helping decrease traffic congestion on Highway 191 and providing access to and from the Big Sky area to those who may not otherwise be able to access the area.
