Big Sky Expands and Remodels Solace Spa7/25/11
BIG SKY, Mont. — Big Sky Resort is excited to announce a major remodel and expansion of the Solace Spa and Salon. Opening for the 2011/2012 winter season, the newly expanded spa will be 3,000 square feet including seven treatment rooms, men’s and ladies locker rooms, and a relaxation room.
The remodel will also include an expansion into salon services. In addition to Big Sky’s signature facials, massages, and other spa treatments, guests will now be able to get their hair cut and styled by hair professionals at the Solace Spa and Salon. The addition of two manicure and two pedicure stations will make luxurious hand, foot, and nail treatments available as well.
“The Solace Spa has always been a wonderful place to relax and be pampered, especially after a long day of skiing or outdoor adventures,” said Barb Rooney, Big Sky Resort Vice President of Lodging. “This expansion and remodel will enhance that experience, and help cater more towards bridal parties and special events guests as well.”
The expansion will also include two specialized rooms set aside for couples treatments and wet wrap treatments such as skin toning, aromatherapy oil, mud, salt glow, and rose wraps.
Selection of spa retail products available for purchase will also expand to include top spa brands such as Epicuren Discovery, Love this Life, CND Shellac, and Aromaland.
The remodel will focus on design reflecting the five elements of earth, wind, water, fire, and sky, with interior décor by the Boyne Design Group.
