7/22/10BIG SKY, MT. - Big Sky Resort is turning on the hoses and cooling off the kids on Saturday, July 31 in the plaza area from 11a.m. until 3 pm. The event will feature slip-n-slides in the base area along with food, music and inflatables.
Activities for the day will be free and are designed for the whole family. The day will include several slip n’ slides. A few will be placed on level ground for the beginners while others will be set up down the grassy hillside for the more advanced sliders. There will also be sprinklers spraying water for both parents and the kids to cool off.
The ever-popular bounce house and a slide from Airtime Inflatables will be set up in the plaza area with free access for children. The Kid’s Club crew will be set-up for some face painting and games, including volleyball and kid-friendly horseshoes. In addition all of Big Sky’s basecamp activities, the zipline, high-ropes, bungee trampoline and climbing wall will be available as well.
What watery summer day in the sun is complete without food? The Burger Bar, Yeti Dogs and other restaurants located in the plaza area will be open serving burgers, dogs, ice cream and much more to help fuel the kids and parents playing around in the lawn.

In addition to Wet-n-Wild, check out the Big Sky Country Fair and Arts Festival, celebrating its 30 year. The day begins with a 5k race and is followed by a local community parade which ends at the town center just in time for the opening of the main events: the art exhibits and live music. There are also numerous children's activities, farmer’s market vendors and food vendors to keep everyone satisfied.
