Park Etiquette and Education Program Prepares Jibbers
12/14/10BIG SKY, Mont. — Big Sky Resort is excited to continue its Park Etiquette and Education Program (PEEPs) for the second year running. The program, which may be completed online, is designed to provide guests with helpful information regarding terrain park safety and etiquette that will help improve their overall terrain park experience at Big Sky Resort.
Big Sky Resort highly recommends that guests participate in the online Park Etiquette & Education Program. Park users who know how to appropriately use Big Sky Resort’s park features help Big Sky’s mission to have fun in a safe environment and create a better terrain park experience for all skiers and riders.
“Education is an extremely important aspect to park safety and etiquette, and that’s why PEEPs was created,” says Tyrel Thornton, Big Sky Resort’s Terrain Park Manager. “We encourage everyone that spends time in the park to complete the program to learn how to become a better, safer park rider.”
Terrain park users can either complete the PEEPs program before visiting the resort via the Big Sky Resort website, or online at Big Sky’s iRanch, located on the second floor of the Mountain Mall. Once the program is completed, guests must print out their PEEPs vouchers and redeem them at the Basecamp or the Guest Services Desk located inside the lower floor of Snowcrest building behind the ticket windows between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:00 PM, seven days a week.
In an effort to raise awareness and participation, Big Sky Resort will offer several incentives for PEEPs passholders. Each person receiving a PEEPs pass will be entered into a drawing for a Season Pass for the next winter ski season and entered into a drawing for a snowboard or skis from Big Sky Sports.
PEEPs cardholders are also eligible for a one-time discount on a park specific lesson with the Big Sky Snowsports School. Furthermore, guests showing a PEEPs pass will receive a full rate ticket at half-day rate on PEEPs Days, celebrated on the first Friday of each month this season.
