Brewfest Celebrates Summer And Regional Beers At Big Sky Resort
6/24/10BIG SKY, Mont. — Taste the flavors from across the region with the Big Sky Resort Brewfest on July 10. On Saturday starting at 3 p.m. the Big Sky Brewfest will take place in the plaza area of the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village.
Tickets are $10 at the gate for music, brews and other festivities. The admission price includes 10 four-ounce pours from one of the several regional breweries participating. Additional pours can be purchased, as well as full pints to quench any thirst.
“We’re excited to bring this energy to the Mountain Village and showcase the local and regional breweries,” said Steve Merlino, Big Sky Resort’s Summit Food and Beverage Manager. “It’s summer and there’s no better way to celebrate than with great beer, great music and great food.”
For those wanting not to imbibe in the local brews, stop by and enjoy an afternoon of awesome music and other activities. The Burger Bar will be open serving chicken, bison burgers, chili and burgers. Non-alcoholic beverages, including soft drinks and ice cream and gourmet hot dogs from Yeti Dogs will also be available for the day.
The music will begin at 4 p.m. with Lunkor, a six-piece Teton Valley rock band that takes a jam-oriented approach to blues, classic rock, country, and eclectic originals. Last call for brews will be at 6p.m., but music will continue until 7 p.m.. Children’s activities, including the Basecamp’s bungee trampoline and climbing wall, as well as our full serving of other adventures will be available so parents can enjoy the sounds and tastes and the kid’s can entertain themselves with fun, safe games.
