Junior Has A Fit Program Comes to Big Sky Resort
11/19/09BIG SKY, Mont. — Big Sky Resort is launching its new Junior Has A Fit Program for the winter 2009-2010 season. This program, available in Big Sky Sports will allow skiers and riders ages 2-14 to have access to inexpensive, quality ski and snowboard gear that can then be exchanged for credit towards a new set-up.
The Junior program will kick-off the season with a Passholder Appreciation Party in Big Sky Sports on November 29, from 3p.m. to 7p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be available as well as coupons for $20 wax and sharpen until December 24, 2009. Solace Spa offers and 20% off all retail items in Big Sky Sports will be provided for Big Sky Resort Passholders.
Beginning as early as November 23, Big Sky Sports will be able to outfits children in new gear. The Volkl Unlimited and Chica skis will be available as well as the Nordica TJ boots all for $289.00. Big Sky is working on procuring Burton snowboards, boots and bindings for the program as well. Families can purchase throughout the season and return the equipment by July 1of the current season for a 50% credit, or by July 1 of the following season for a 25% credit towards new gear.
“Anyone with children will know how fast they grow out of ski and snowboard equipment, Junior Has A Fit was developed to make it easier for families to obtain gear for their rippers without breaking the bank,” said Mark Savoy, Retail Manager at Big Sky Resort. “The ability to purchase gear and use it for one or two seasons then trade it in for a discount on new gear as children grow provides a wonderful service for all the young skiers and riders in the community.”
