Skiing With the Eagles- Eaglemount Ski Race

BIG SKY, Mont. - Please Join Eagle Mount for a fun filled Race to benefit the adaptive ski program at Big Sky. Proceeds will go towards purchasing much needed adaptive equipment and to assist the operation of our Big Sky Program.

Friday February 23rd, The Calcutta: The event will kick off with a Calcutta Friday evening, Feb. 23rd. Teams will be auctioned off, through a silent auction. Teams with multiple bids (maximum of fifteen teams) will be auctioned off in a
"live" auction beginning at 5:00 pm. Funds for the Calcutta team purchases are required the evening of the event. The Calcutta will pay out for the 1st, 2nd, 7th and 14th place. Proceeds will be split 40% to Eagle Mount and 60% divided between Calcutta winners. Winners will receive payouts of ; 1st place team 40%, 2nd place team 30%, 7th place team 20%, and 14th place 10%. Early race check in will also occur this evening.

Saturday February 24th, The Day of the Race: Saturday, check in at the North Mammoth Room (upstairs in the Mountain Mall) from 8 - 9 am to pick up your bib numbers and your t-shirt. The race will begin at 10:00 am on Hangman?s, where teams of two will get two runs on a Giant Slalom Course with each team member making a run on each course. If you need a lift ticket reduced price tickets will be offered for all racers ($34.00).

The Award Ceremony will be at the North Mammoth room upstairs in the Mountain Mall at 4:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, third, and thirteenth place teams, and most similar timed first and second run by an individual. The fastest business team will receive a traveling trophy as well as
bragging rights. The grand prize will go to most pledges raised for Eagle Mount Big Sky. Calcutta payout will also occur during the award ceremony.

This will be a fun filled day for all ages and all skill levels. Please join Eagle Mount to help us build & grow in Big Sky. The fee is $100 per team.
