Daycare
Our friendly and caring staff welcomes your child to the Lone Peak Playhouse (LPP), right at the base of Big Sky's slopes. Relax and enjoy the area while your child plays with other children in our safe and fun environment. We are a center that operates in conjunction with Big Sky Resort and the Snowsports School. LPP is conveniently located in the Snowcrest Lodge, across the hall from the Snowsports School.

Daycare with Skiing Option
Children 4 years and up with a reservation at LPP can spend the morning at the Lone Peak Playhouse and the afternoon in a Mini Camp ski lesson. Upon your request, LPP will register your child for Mini Camp and take payment for the lesson. The staff will dress your child and a Big Sky Snowsports instructor will pick them up and return them to LPP once the lesson is over. As a parent, all you need to do is inform the Snowsports School of your child's ability and provide appropriate equipment and clothing. 3 and 4 year olds can ski a small fry lesson reserved through ski school.
2-hour lesson: $127

*Meals are served at the following times: breakfast/ AM snack - 9:00, lunch - 11:20 and PM snack - 3:00. Please provide bottles, formula and baby food for infants. You are welcome to bring your child alternate snacks.
Our Philosophy
Lone Peak Playhouse believes that children deserve a vacation too. Our Playhouse offers a caring, safe and fun environment where children can play, rest and enjoy their day. Our different-themed play areas will keep them busy for hours and also spark their imagination and creativity. Lone Peak Playhouse always follows appropriate practices and uses positive guidance and positive reinforcement to encourage and foster personal development.
What to Bring
Each child will receive a small storage cubby for his/her personal belongings. Please bring outdoor clothing including jacket, snow pants, boots, warm hat and waterproof gloves or mittens and an extra change of clothes. Lone Peak Playhouse will supply wipes at diaper changing, but please bring diapers (at least 4/ full day), formula, bottles and baby food and any other necessary supplies. You may want to bring an item from home or a security item for the child to help them adjust to the new environment; however, please refrain from bringing personal toys and candy. You may also bring skis and boots if your child is registered for a ski lesson. Please label everything with your child?s full name.
Dismissal from Daycare
Lone Peak Playhouse will make every attempt to create an enjoyable experience for you child; however, our teachers cannot be occupied for an excessive amount of time with one child in a group setting. If your child cannot be comforted or has trouble adjusting to the group environment, Lone Peak Playhouse reserves the right to dismiss any child from daycare if necessary.
