Vehicle Mechanic
The Vehicle Mechanic must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle and/or heavy equipment maintenance and repair, and or professional training. Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, with experience in hydraulic and vehicle electrical systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair on heavy equipment, snow cats, pick-up trucks, and small engines. Experience in welding and acetylene cutting necessary.
Must be able to work independently and as a team. Candidate must have the ability to operate large machinery to include, but not limited to, snowcats, forklifts, loaders, garbage trucks, and plow trucks.
Previous diagnostic and repair experience required. Heavy lifting and the ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures, also required.
