Administrative Assistant to Facilities Maintenance
The Facilities Maintenance Administrative Assistant is responsible in providing administrative support for the maintenance department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, purchasing, accounts payable, account management, researching vendors, scheduling vendor visits, answering phones, typing documents, formatting, editing, compiling and routing correspondence, filing, and other tasks as assigned.
Applicants must also be familiar with Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, and E-mail. Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to manage time, be well organized, handle multiple tasks, and have a high attention to detail. Individual must be proactive, and self-motivated. Assist with other duties as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Working Hours: Full Time Year Round
Wage: DOE
Reports to: Maintenance Manager – Marc Perdue
1. Must be detail oriented; possess good communication and interpersonal skills and able to take initiative.
2. Must be able to multi task and be well organized and detail oriented.
3. Basic accounting/math principles necessary.
4. Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. is required.
5. Previous maintenance experience in apartment, motel, or hotel a plus.
