Guest Room Technology Coordinator
Knowledge and Skills:
a) Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
b) Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications is required.
c) Wired/wireless Ethernet networking experience.
d) TCP/IP network protocol and basic Internet understanding.
e) Basic audiovisual knowledge.
f) Ability to use basic hand tools is required.
g) Ability to use logic, vendor support, reference manuals, Internet resources, and documentation to solve problems is required.
Extent of Public Contact:
This job requires extensive, daily contact with both the public, Big Sky Resort customers and Big Sky Resort employees. Customer service is a key element of the job and adherence to Big Sky Resort?s service values is mandatory.
Physical Demands:
a) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
b) Ability to use common technician hand tools.
c) Ability to work in areas without handicap access.
d) Ability to work on a ladder.
e) Ability to communicate verbally with public, customers and employees.
f) Ability to read manuals, documentation and computer screens.
g) Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Working Conditions and Environment:
a) Weekend work on a rotating basis or in case of an emergency or nights in case of emergency.
b) The successful applicant will be required to carry a pager and/or cellular phone and to be on call when scheduled.
c) Working environment can include dirty, dusty, damp, dark, hot and cold conditions.
d) Appropriate equipment will be provided for hazardous conditions.
