Bellporter

The Bell porter must greet and welcome guests by opening car doors, lobby front doors, etc.  Taking luggage packages and ice to and from guests' rooms, as well as safely storing guests' luggage in an organized manner.  The bell porters must maintain a friendly and enthusiastic attitude while representing the resort and escorting guests to their lodging. Bell porters assist with traffic control in the front loop, safely transporting guests using company vehicles, keeping in mind that the company vehicles are for business purposes only.  Accurately answering questions regarding the Resort and surrounding areas to assist guests with directions and information.  Bell porters are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the front lobby area, bell closet, company vehicles and the loop and bell staff carts.  Guest complaints must be handled in an effective and timely manner, as well as following safety guidelines in all aspects of the job (lifting, driving, etc), and knowing emergency procedures.
