1. Working Hours: Seasonal position, hours vary
2. Wage: DOE
3. Prior knowledge of the front desk and/or housekeeping departments preferred.
4. Superior guest service and organizational skills are required.
5. Must work well with others and be able to delegate.
6. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand room status and room status tracking.
- Knows room locations, types available, and rates.
- Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
- Posts charges to guests accounts.
- Able to process guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette.
- Is aware of daily activities and meetings taking place in the resort.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
- Knows all safety and emergency procedures.
- Handles guest concerns effectively and efficiently.
- General knowledge of food items on room service menus.
- Able to enter room service orders into POS terminal.
- Process work orders.
- Delegate jobs to runners based on guest needs.
- Track/secure use of condominium keys by runners.
- Consolidate delivery of guest request items for speed and consistency of delivery.
