1.  Working Hours: Seasonal position, hours vary

2.  Wage:  DOE

3.  Prior knowledge of the front desk and/or housekeeping departments preferred.  

4.  Superior guest service and organizational skills are required. 

5.  Must work well with others and be able to delegate.

6.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Understand room status and room status tracking.
  2. Knows room locations, types available, and rates.
  3. Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
  4. Posts charges to guests accounts.
  5. Able to process guest check-ins and check-outs.
  6. Uses proper telephone etiquette.
  7. Is aware of daily activities and meetings taking place in the resort.
  8. Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
  9. Knows all safety and emergency procedures.
  10. Handles guest concerns effectively and efficiently.
  11. General knowledge of food items on room service menus.
  12. Able to enter room service orders into POS terminal.
  13. Process work orders.
  14. Delegate jobs to runners based on guest needs.
  15. Track/secure use of condominium keys by runners.
  16. Consolidate delivery of guest request items for speed and consistency of delivery.
