Housekeeping Training Supervisor

SUMMARY:

As Housekeeping Training Supervisor your shifts will vary daily depending on your workload.  Responsible for training new staff for all housekeeping departments, as well as, responsible for inspecting behind new trainees. 

JOB DUTIES:

* Responsible for training of all staff for all housekeeping departments.

*  Responsible for inspections of deep cleans, checkouts, services and vacant dirty rooms cleaned by housekeepers.

*  Responsible for making sure you know which housekeepers you will be inspecting daily and those housekeepers know you are inspecting their rooms.

*  If the room was not cleaned properly or a service was not done correctly, you must send the housekeeper back, and re-inspect the room when they have completed the cleaning. 

*  Keep visible and in communication with the Housekeepers assigned to you for that day.  If a Housekeeper is doing an excellent job-please tell them.  If something is not satisfactory or forgotten, let them know, so they can do it correctly in the future.

*  Responsible for knowing all safety and emergency procedures, as well as, MSDS.

*  Regularly attend scheduled meetings of Housekeeping staff.

*  Responsible for learning the computer system and entering rooms, work orders, etc.

*  Responsible for reporting any maintenance, carpet stains, replacement room items, damages and comments per rooms assigned daily.

*  Responsible for having all blocked units completed by 3pm whenever possible.

*  Responsible for security of rooms after you have been in them.

*  Be professional, positive and helpful to fellow employees and guests.

*  Assist all owners/guests with any needs that they may have.*

*  Report any suspicious persons, situations, and safety issues to a Supervisor immediately.

* Help set an example and enforce all rules set by the Supervisor(s) or Boyne USA.

* Remain flexible and calm when working under pressure.

* Bi-Lingual English/Spanish speaking preferred

* Courtesy- good service, general attention to our guests, practicing a friendly smile and treating every guest like a VIP.

* Guest impression- attention to details.  How would a guest feel when entering an area?

  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Ability to adapt to different positions as needed.
  5. Previous experience in a housekeeping role.
