Title of Posted Job: Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant
Working Hours: Full-time, year-round position, Monday through FridayWage: DOE
Duties: Provide administrative support for the Sales & Marketing Department. Responsibilities include typing documents, formatting, editing, compiling and routing correspondence, making travel arrangements for the department. Responding to, forwarding, and tracking daily email requests. Updating seasonal information sheets. Ordering business cards for resort. Greeting and helping guests with requests. Handling all incoming phone calls for sales/marketing/public relations and advertising staff. Maintaining the Sales and Marketing budget. Ordering office supplies to keep sufficient inventory levels, including winter & summer packets, upkeep of office equipment and general appearance of the entire office and the brochure room. Coordinating sales and trade contracts for fall ski shows and assisting Brand Manager with marketing projects. Handling site inspection arrangements for wholesalers and FAM trips. Manage historical records including complimentary certificates, listings, memberships, mailing lists, client files, etc. and other duties as assigned.
Additional job duties:
-Updating web site listings, calendar of events, homepage press releases
-Updating all rates and activities on web site
-Shop for promotional items
-Press articles framed
-Assist in updating PR contact database
-Manage trade accounts for advertising manager
-Input magazine reader leads
-Brochure Distribution especially Boyne Properties
-Assist Advertising Manager in placing ads
-Occassional travel to ski shows
-Run sales reports and forecasts
-Create group surveys and distribute to all group leaders
-Enter bills into procurit
-Managing the complimentary certificate program, including setting the budget, qualifying donations, fielding all comp cert requests, maintaining the comp cert database
Qualifications: Must be detail oriented, possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer and typing experience necessary. Must be familiar with Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, E-mail and Access. <- Back to Openings
