AM Audio Visual Tech
The Audio Visual Technician will, in coordination with others in the AV/Conference Services Departments, transport, set up, connect, test, adjust, instruct others in the use of, breakdown, and return to storage any audio visual equipment requested for events which take place at Big Sky Resort. The Technician will work with clients, third party providers, and Big Sky Staff in a courteous and cooperative manner to assure that what is needed is provided for in as timely a way as possible regardless of when and how the request is made. This level of service will be balanced by following financial and security procedures that ensure the accurate and timely billing for services and safeguarding of Big Sky Resort assets.
DETAILS
1. Working Hours: Vary (days, evenings, weekends, as required by clients), seasonal position- full-time
2. Wage: Pay DOE
3. Familiarity with the set up and operation of:
- Audio mixers, wired and wireless microphones
- Amplifiers, speakers
- LCD/Video projectors and televisions
- Cable/satellite receivers, CD/DVD players
- VHS and U-matic VCRs
- 35 mm slide projectors/dissolve units
- Overhead projectors, telephones, lighting and audio control systems and similar equipment.
- Personal computer skills including MS Powerpoint/Excel and Windows operating system on notebook PCs.
