Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant

The Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the Food & Beverage Department, including, but not limited to, the following;

  • Typing documents, formatting, editing, compiling, and routing correspondence.
  • Responding to, forwarding, and tracking daily email requests.
  • Greeting and helping guests with requests.
  • Develop and monitor post-con evaluation and GSS systems.
  • Ordering office supplies to keep sufficient inventory levels, upkeep of office equipment and general appearance of the entire office.
  • Updating seasonal information sheets in combination with Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant.
  • Coordinating all in-house events, to expand into taking more groups as experience grows. 
  • Supporting coordinators during excess busy times by supervising events in place of the coordinator.
  • Maintain restaurant menu stocks.  Printing and design when applicable. 
  • Responsible for all Conference Services printing, including but not limited to, buffet labels and marquees.
  • Assisting executive chef with F&B inventory management and control.
  • Printing and hand distributing weekly BEO’s and event lists to F&B managers and outlets according to BEO schedule.
  • Invoice transfer/tracking in Procurit.
  • Assisting in recipe and costing data entry.  Menu management.
  • Liaison between Marketing team and F&B to ensure all printing is branded properly and represents Big Sky Resorts message.
  • Overall support for Food & Beverage managers, with an emphasis in conference coordinating.

    1.       Full Time Year Round

    2.       Wage-DOE

    3.       Relevant degree and/or experience required.

    4.       Familiar with Big Sky Resort and the community recommended.

    5.       Must be detail oriented, as well as possess good communication and interpersonal skills. 

    6.       Have knowledge of all office equipment operation, including necessary computer and typing experience.

    7.       Extensive knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Access and Microsoft Word required.

    8.       Must be able to multi task, be well organized and detail oriented.
