Andiamo Chef

·         Responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the Andiamo kitchen as well as any assigned administrative duties.

·         Manages and ensures that all lunches and dinners are served to the guests on time and of the highest quality.

·         Assists in the recruitment and hiring of supervisors and line level staff.

·         Assures proper training of culinary staff.

·         Assists in implementing and managing systems of cost controls for food, labor and supplies.

·         Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness, organization and sanitation in areas of responsibility.

·         Assists in developing culinary concepts and associated menus.

·         Participates in the long term planning and development of the Culinary program for Big Sky Resort with other key managers.

·         Promotes and follows all Boyne U.S.A. and Big Sky Resort policies, guidelines and philosophies.

·         Creates and maintains a safe, positive and motivating work environment.

·         Works with purveyors and others to purchase the highest quality products at the best possible pricing.

·         Assures that all assigned administrative duties are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

·         Works to develop culinary training and positive communication with the front of house staff.

·         Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees as necessary.

·         Assures the highest possible product quality to provide an exceptional guest experience.

·         Continually strives to improve quality in all aspects of the operation.  Will take the existing operation to a higher standard.

·         Tracks maintenance and capital needs of the operation to ensure competitiveness and efficiency.
