Conference Coordinator

The Conference Coordinator will be the main group contact once a group is booked and is responsible for the overall planning of conference duration.  Including, but not limited to:  meeting space, audio visual, food & beverage, event design, and activities.                  

  • Plan logistical and administrative arrangements with various conference groups.
  • Work to create a cohesive team between all departments related to conference success (sales, convention kitchen, conference services, accounting, etc)
  • Conference data entry into ESP.
  • Communicate with group contacts, both on the phone and through email during planning stages and in person, while contact is on-site.
  • Support a cohesive food and beverage team with great communication, problem solving and patience.
  • Strive to achieve 100% guest satisfaction and support the departmental goal of 90% GSS.
  • Committed to meeting or exceeding the departments EBITDA goals
  • Support a constant improvement of overall conference services process.

DETAILS

1. Full Time Year Round

2. Wage-DOE

3. Relevant degree and/or experience required.  Wedding planning experience is ideal.

4. Familiar with Big Sky Resort and the community recommended.

5. Must be detail oriented, as well as possess good communication and interpersonal skills. 

6. Have knowledge of all office equipment operation, including necessary computer and typing experience.

7. Extensive knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Access and Microsoft Word required.

8. Must be able to multi task, be well organized and detail oriented.
