Chet's Bar and Grill Manager

The manager is responsible for all chet’s bar and grill/fondue stube food and beverage operations. this position is directly responsible for chet’s beverage operations along with huntley/shoshone /conference center/pavilion banquet bars.  The manager works with the culinary department to ensure that the highest food quality standards are consistently achieved.  This position will promote and maintain exceptionally high standards of service and product quality while meeting or exceeding financial goals.

·         Responsible for the daily operation of Chet’s Bar and Grill and all Huntley/Conference Center /Pavilion banquet bars.

·         Maintains the highest level of cleanliness, sanitation and organization in all areas of responsibility.

·         Follows all required regulatory guidelines established by local, state or federal governments.

·         Ensure that all staff members who serve alcohol receive Montana state approved alcohol server training and pass the test.

·         Committed  to the Enlightened Hospitality culture. 

·         Committed to achieving the highest technical service standards appropriate for the outlet. 

·         Creates beverage menus that will provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

·         Works with purveyors to purchase the best possible products at the best pricing.

·         Works with Executive Chef and Sous Chef  in the menu development process.

·         Ensures that bar and food items are consistently prepared to specification by regularly expediting on the kitchen line.  

·         Works with Conference Service Director to develop and implement Best Mountain Meeting Beverage standards.

·         Creates, implements and oversees systems of cost controls for product, labor and supplies.

·         Ensures that the department is working within budget and costs are controlled.

·         Focuses training and systems to achieve the highest GSS and QAA scores.

·         Recruits, hires, trains, and directs staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Minimum two years of bar management experience.

·         Seasonal positions with the potential to become Full Time Year Round.
