Human Resources Recruiter

The Human Resources Recruiter develops and implements recruiting strategies and goals including job fairs, job postings, college recruiting, advertising and employee relations with current staff in order to hire over 1,000 seasonal positions each year. The Recruiter also manages various other Human Resource functions, including, but not limited to;

Assists Directors and Managers with hiring processes, including:

o  Develop and maintain seasonal staffing plans, ensuring up-to-date entries for managers.

o  Compile, document and distribute applications for employment, aligning experience with company needs.

o  Develop employee relations for effective communication and seasonal staffing objectives.

o  Job analysis and development of job descriptions to place job announcements and ads.

o  Communicating with a high volume of job applicants, including notification of the status of their application.

· Respond to employment inquiries regarding benefits, housing, transportation, paperwork, etc.

· Will oversee the hiring paperwork documents and seasonal hiring paperwork sessions to ensure a high volume of seasonal staff complete hired paperwork in an organized and efficient manner. Including the assurance that forms, handbooks and nametags are on hand. Working with Payroll to ensure documents are accurate for their new hire entry.

· Sends hired documents, welcome packets and follows up with arriving staff to ensure smooth arrivals, while anticipating cancellations.

·         Maintains the employee webpage with open positions, seasonal dates, benefits, housing and newsletters.

·         Audits active staff reports to generate requirements for Orientations, trainings and background checks.

·         Ensures documentation of orientations, trainings, ski and golf pass forms to maintain proper records and reduce company liability.

·         Manages the international program by hiring Work and Travel university students each season, making agreements with staffing agencies and filing necessary paperwork each season.  Must also research and comply with legal requirements of the J1 students.

·         Responsible for overseeing and developing the internship program for both American and International college students.

·         Submits Worker’s Comp First Reports, follow up with managers and staff on status of the claim and work with the Insurance carrier to provide wages, hours and light duty work.

·         Assist with employee safety initiatives, committee and minutes to provide a safe work environment, reduce workplace accidents and reduce Worker’s Compensation claims and costs.

·         Logs accidents, treatment and reports to managers, using this information to do annual OSHA 300 Log reports.

·         Supports the Boyne and Big Sky wellness initiatives to increase employee health, morale, productiveness and reduce insurance premiums.

·         Enters HR department invoices into ProcureIt for accurate and timely accounting.

·         Understand company policies and assist the HR Director in counseling and terminations, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Degree in Administration or Human Resources Management preferred; or a combination of education and several years of progressive experience in HR administration to be up to date on latest HR trends, laws and documentation procedures.

·         Knowledge of information systems and excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Work, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint. Must be extremely skilled in Excel entry, sorting and mail merge.

·         Must be a self starter and work independently, while also working well with a large staff and management.

·         Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and manage time effectively, with a commitment to organizational goals

·         Exceptional candidates will have outstanding analytical thinking and problem solving skills

·         Must be sensitive to and maintain confidential information.

·         Demonstrate discretion, integrity, fair-mindedness, and a persuasive, congenial personality.
