Human Resources Generalist
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist will support the Human Resources and Payroll operations with the following responsibilities;
· Meeting and greeting all “guests” who come to the office, while directing their inquiries to the proper outlet.
· Filing, copying, and helping new employees through the initial paperwork sessions.
· Ready and able to take on organizational projects, including hire packets, time clock posting, office supplies, organization and other office duties, as needed.
· Helping the HR Recruiter in distributing and recording new applications to managers, answering employee questions, etc.
· Also responsible for supporting Payroll in any aspects of filing, answering questions and direct deposit, as needed.
· Understanding documentation needs and Human Resource law, as well as have complete discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
· Must be familiar with Big Sky Resort handbook, policy and procedures to answer a multitude of inquiries.
· Must be extremely detail oriented, outgoing and able to take initiative.
· Organizing and executing the employee newsletter and Guest Service Specialist of the Month.
· Will work closely with managers and staff as an employee relations contact.
· Will support the Human Resource Director with projects, audits and presentations, as needed.
· Extensive data entry, excel reporting and office organization on a daily basis.
· Understanding the operations of the resort and be familiar with the community to answer all employee questions.
· Previous knowledge of current managers, Big Sky Resort outlets and employees preferred.

5. Ability to organize and prioritize work, managing several projects and office contacts simultaneously.
6. Ability to interface effectively with employees, various levels of management, as well as external applicants and service providers.
7. Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in interpreting and applying policies to problems.
8. Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, etc).
