Terrain Parks


Thanks to everybody who came out for our Sunset Saturday's Kick Off Comp the other Saturday.  Check out the video for a little taste of what went down.  We're still hard at work in the parks these days.  2.0 is alive and kicking with a down rail,two flat boxes, pole jam, gap to box, barrel bonk and a QP.  Swifty Park is going to get a little love tonight bringing us up to a sweet 16 features. Tube Park has a new butter pad, which out very own Kevin ollied onto possibly making him the best snowboarder alive.

Don't forget Pond Skim- Saturday, April 10th, its gonna be fresh.

Swifty Park -Our O.G. terrain park, having been around for quite some time now.  Swifty Park is located directly under the Swift Current chair.  You’ll find a large variety of features in Swifty Park, including boxes, rails, jumps and pretty much anything else we can dream up. Features in Swifty are set up for advanced riders with street style rail set-ups and larger jumps. 

 

Features: 15' down rail, Ole dirty 30', 10' flat rail, down flat rail, backside/frontside round bars,C-box, Kink elbow lift tower, 30' round rail, culvert, pvc wallride hybrid, two step-down jumps.

 

Rating: Large

 

Swifty 2.0- Our newbie park this year, located in the base area at the bottom of Calamity Jane. 

 

Features in 2.0 included kinked rails, jumps, pole jams, butter pads and a QP.  2.0 has advanced set-ups including street style rail set ups, pole jams and larger jumps. 

 

Rating: Medium

 

Features: Pole Jam, down box, two flat boxes, step up-step down jump, QP with lift tower stall 

 

The Family Fun Zone Park-One step up from Explorer Park located in the Family Fun Zone with an entrance on the skier’s right of Chet’s Knob.  The FFZ Park is open with access from Chet’s Knob during the day and then with access from the Magic Carpet from 4 to 8pm.  Features in the FFZ Park include rollers, boxes, rails and jumps.

 

Features:  Rollers, rainbow box, two jumps

 

Park Rating: Small

 

Explorer Park- Our beginner park located on White Wing off of the Explorer lift.  Features in Explorer Park are built to cater to people who are just learning to slide boxes or rails, with features that are low to the ground with ride on lips.

 

Features:  Two flat boxes, flat rail

 

Rating: Small

PEEPs

Park users that know how to use our park features only help our mission for more FUN. Knowing your park etiquette and being educated about terrain parks will always give you a better terrain park experience! Everyone who completes our online program and redeems their voucher will be put into a drawing to enjoy 4 nights at our Huntley lodge & 4 days of skiing/riding on 3,812 acres for themselves and 3 friends!!

All you have to do is get educated by clicking on the PEEPs logo above and then follow the directions leading you through our program. At the end you will get a voucher with a serial number that you will need in order to get your PEEPs pass. Simply print out that voucher and take it to Guest Services (located in the Snowcrest Lodge)BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:00PM and 4:00PM any day of the week to get your pass.
