Private Lessons

Customize your ski or snowboard lesson to work on the skills you want to most with personalized instruction. Please call 406.995.5743 to signup. Reservations are recommended and often required. Multi-hour lessons are suggested for maximum results. Private Lessons allow up to 2 participants. Cost is $25 per additional person in a half day lesson and $35 per person for a full-day lesson. 

*Kids 10 and under ski free all day with lesson. Free lift ticket applies to day(s) in which that child is enrolled in lessons. Please inquire at Mountain Sports School for more information or to enroll your child in a lesson.

Get on the mountain with a Big Sky Resort Mountain Guide before the lifts open to the public!  Guided morning half day available for up to 5 people (for 1/2 day add $25 for each additional person and $35/additional on full day).  Here is how it works....Load Ramcharger at 8:15AM for a run of choice on Andesite, then head over to Swift Current Lift, then the Triple, then the Tram, weather & snow conditions pending. Reservations Required. 

Available for all ability levels. Reservations required.

Get your child off to the right start. Daily sessions available at 9am and 12:15pm for skiers ages 3-4 and snowboarders ages 5-7.

This specialized private focuses primarily on the family experience. It is an opportunity  for family members to learn and experience our mountain together. The lesson and terrain can not exceed the ability of the lowest level. Therefore, we encourage similar abilities and terrain desires.

Parents often want to be involved in their child's learning process. During a Mommy and Me lesson, our certified instructors teach your child while coaching you to personally develop your child's skills. Reservations are recommended. 

Explore the best Big Sky has to offer and challenge yourself while skiing or snowboarding with a professional guide. Our focus is on the total mountain experience customized to your ability and expectations. Through our guide service you will have access to avalanche safety equipment to enable you to experience some of Big Sky's more challenging terrain. Intermediate or higher ability required.  The Mountain Guide program allow up to 2 participants. Cost is TBA per additional person in a 2 or 3 hour lesson and TBA per person for a full-day lesson.
