What is a Gold, Silver or Bronze Pass?

Gold, Silver and Bronze passes offer direct-to-lift access. These passes are not applicable to Moonlight Basin.

Can I purchase passes without assigning a name now to lock in early season pricing and assign a name later?
Big Sky Resort offers business an option to purchase season passes for future seasonal employees. Names may be assigned to the pre-purchased passes at the beginning of the winter season. Please contact Mountain Services at 406-995-5749 for complete details and application form.

Which passes offer access to Moonlight Basin?
The Biggest Skiing in America Pass offers seamless access to both Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin terrain. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Sky Cards do not provide access to Moonlight Basin.

When can I purchase my Biggest Skiing in America Pass?
Biggest Skiing in America passes will be announced in the fall. Additionally, We are not able to combine BSR and MLB passes purchased at each resort invdividually.

When can I purchase my Sky Card?
Sky Cards are available for purchase. They will not offer direct-to-lift privileges, card holders must purchase day tickets at window.

Does my Sky Card offer direct-to-lift privileges?
The Sky card does not have direct-to-lift privileges. Sky Card holders must purchase day tickets at the window. The Sky Card is not applicable to Moonlight Basin or Biggest Skiing in America lift tickets.

Do Silver and Bronze passes offer discounted ticket privileges on non-direct-to-lift days?
Yes, the Silver and Bronze passes offer Sky Card $25 off lift tickets for days when the pass is not valid. $25 off does not apply when early or late season pricing is in effect.

When can I pick up my season pass or Sky Card and will it have my picture on it?
Gold, Silver and Bronze passes will be available for pick-up starting November 18th, 2013. All guests must be present to pick up their season passes. Mountain Services will take a new photograph for their pass as well as have each pass holder sign the liability waiver (must be 18 years or older to sign). Pick-up location in Big Sky is the Mountain Services office (located behind the ticket windows in the Snowcrest Building) after November 18th, 2013. Mountain Services Hours will be 9 am -4 pm Monday through Friday November 18th –November 27th and 8 am -4:30 pm seven days a week November 28th – April 20th. Big Sky Resort will have pass shows in Bozeman in the fall where passes will be available for printing. Please stay tuned to dates and locations.
Sky Cards will not have photos and will require a photo ID be presented with each ticket purchase. All sky cards purchased before November 1st will be mailed to the address used when your card is purchased. All Sky Cards purchased after on or after November 1st will be available for pick up in the Mountain Services office after November 18th, 2013. Mountain Services Hours will be 9 am -4 pm Monday through Friday November 18th –November 27th and 8 am -4:30 pm seven days a week November 28th – April 20th.

What documentation needs to be presented & how many current semester credits for the College Pass?
Acceptable proofs of registration are photo IDs with corresponding copies of schedules (must have name on schedule) and bill/transcript statements showing 6 credits for current semester. You will need to show documentation when you pick up your pass. Your pass will not be issued without documentation. National Student Clearing House may also be used as proof of current enrollment accompanied with a current college photo ID. If you are not enrolled in classes at the beginning of the 2013-2014 ski season, you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade your pass to Adult Gold at the regular season rate.

Where do I go to purchase my pass and sign-up for payment plan?
Season Passes are available for purchase online, however, payment plans are not available online. You can purchase a pass over the phone at (406) 995-5749 or in person at Mountain Services. Payment plans are available in person or over the phone for Gold and Silver season passes only purchased by 4/30/13. There is a $35 service charge for the payment plan. Credit Card is required. Payment plan is not available online.
