The Great Outdoors

Our scenic lift operates all summer taking bikers, hikers & sight seekers up to the summit of Andesite Mountain where spectacular views and a network of trails await. Big Sky also has a brand new Zip Line which just opened this winter! Enjoy our Arnold Palmer-designed golf course or choose one of many other exciting outdoor activities available amid the breathtaking mountains of Montana or along the beautiful Gallatin River. Whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and more are amongst the many popular activities available in the area. Base Camp to Yellowstone

Big Sky is only a short drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, making it a great place to base your stay if you are planning on spending some time viewing the wildlife and natural wonders of this beautiful area. Make the drive yourself to enjoy the Park on your own time, or take a tour from one of the many knowledgable local guides.

Meetings in the Mountains

Meetings and Conventions are right at home in the spacious Yellowstone Conference Center, well-attended by our professional conference service and catering staff. Group Activities

Big Sky in the summer offers a diverse variety of activities for groups of every size to ensure that, whatever your interests, there's something here to keep everyone busy! Big Sky Resort has certified instructors providing a range of different fitness classes, which will be held in our dedicated Wellness Studio. For the outdoor enthusiast, you can opt to be out around the mountain or down on (and maybe in!) the lake. If you're shy of the sun or need something to occupy you on that - very occasional - rainy afternoon, try a relaxing movie or art class.

Activities for Kids

As well as our daily Kids Club for guests of Big Sky Central Reservations, Big Sky can organize lots of additional activities for groups of kids, ranging from hands-on crafts to outdoor games. Send the kids out on the mountain safe in the knowledge that they will be fully supervised and may even learn something new as they explore the area.
