Summer activities for children

When kids are on vacation, they like to be kept busy, whether it's with arts and crafts or running around playing games in the outdoors. In addition to our daily Kids Club for guests of Big Sky Central Reservations, Big Sky's experienced Activities Department can offer a whole load of different activities for kids of all ages.

Large family groups will find these a great idea to keep the kids happy and occupied when Dad wants to play a few rounds of golf or Mom spends the afternoon at the Spa. Many activities are also ideal to try with the whole family, so parents and kids alike can have a fun and memorable holiday together. For conferences, why not invite the whole family and organize some fun activities for the children of attendees, so they can make new friends and have fun on the mountain while the parents are working!

You'll dodge, duck, dip, dive . . . A great outdoor or indoor game with no sting dodge balls.  We’ll supervise 4-24 players.

Get creative with paints and design your own terracotta pot.  We will provide the pot and some Montana wildflower seed packets to plant when you arrive home!

We will set out in teams and complete an adventure race!  We will learn some map and compass skills, knot tying and animal/plant identification as well.  Sure to be a challenging and fun time!

Send your kids to Africa with us!  We’ll take them for as many holes as they like on our Disc Golf course on Andesite Mountain and provide introductory instruction if needed.

Teepee Camp-Out 

Send your kids on a camping adventure!  A little pre-planning is needed…  Kids need to bring sleeping bags and pillows and we will camp out in our very own Teepee.  We will play games, tell stories and make s’mores.  Dinner and breakfast will be provided also.  If the night is clear we will do some star-gazing!  Sure to be an unforgettable experience.
