Body Treatments

Most of our treatments were designed to soothe the effects of Big Sky's high altitude and dry climate by incorporating the hydrating and healing properties of many natural elements.  Guests who need relief from overindulging in the mountain's many recreational activties like skiing, biking and hiking will find a selection of treatments to help heal, comfort and beautify.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Solace Classic Massage – Our full body Swedish massage that melts away tension, improves circulation & imparts total relaxation.

Altitude Adjustment Therapy – Designed specifically to help your body adapt to life at 7,500 feet. This massage is a blend of Swedish, Craniosacral and Neuromuscular techniques that will help increase circulation and minimize altitude induced headaches.

Montana Morning Massage – The perfect massage before you head out on your big adventure in Big Sky. This is an uplifting sports massage to warm up muscles for peak performance.

Deep Tissue Therapy – Using specialized techniques, we focus on deeper work in specific muscle groups to address your problem areas.

Apres Ski Fusion Massage – This unique blend of massage helps relieve symptoms from exercise at high altitudes by using a combination of hot & cold stones, deep tissue work and aromatherapy.

Mountain Mama – Our classic Swedish massage tailored specifically for the expectant mother. We use 100% pure melted Shea butter instead of traditional oil and this massage can be performed with our Body Support Systems cushions or in side-lying position for ultimate relaxation.

Big Adventure Massage – A firm sports massage that soothes sore and tired muscles, relieves tension and helps increase range of motion. A great choice if you played a little too hard in the Montana wild.

Gallatin River Hot Stone Massage  - Native stones are used in combination with 100% pure melted Shea butter for the ultimate sensory experience. This massage is a perfect recovery after a day on the mountain.

Swifty’s Swedish – Short on time but still need an escape? Enjoy a shortened version of our classic Swedish massage. This is also a great introductory massage for kids and teens (bathing suit attire required for ages 16 & under).

Head, Hand & Foot Escape – Hands and feet are cocooned in warm 100% pure Shea butter and tenderly massaged. While enjoying the hydrating effects of the Shea butter, your scalp is then treated to a soothing aromatherapy massage.

The Duo – Perfect for couples, mothers & daughters, fathers & sons or just good friends. Choose any of our massages and enjoy them together in our couple’s room.

Peppermint Foot Massage – Devote a few minutes to these often neglected parts of your body. We incorporate acupressure, reflexology and heat therapy with peppermint essential oil to balance and restore.

BODY TREATMENTS

Montana Wild Honey Salt Glow – This fragrant and deep cleansing exfoliation uses Dead Sea salts, is coupled with a rinse and finished with a 25 minute 100% pure Shea butter massage.

Cinnamon Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub – Absolutely delicious. This indulgent concoction will soften and smooth your skin. Once scrubbed and rinsed, enjoy a 25 minute massage with a luxurious customized moisturizer.

Warm Aromatherapy Oil Wrap – This nurturing wrap envelopes your body and soul in custom blended essential oils. This treatment helps to eliminate toxins, improve skin tone & diminish the appearance of cellulite. While wrapped you will also enjoy a warm scalp massage.

River’s Edge Purifying Mud Wrap – Two of nature’s most effective purifiers, Volcanic Ash and China Clay, are the base in which a blend of Lavender, Rosewood, Helichrysum and Sandalwood oils are held. This wrap includes a beautiful scalp massage and helps promote overall revitalization.

Chai Spice Detoxifying Mud Wrap – Your body is cocooned in cinnamon, nutmeg and clove to promote circulation and pull impurities from the skin while an organic blend of soy, green tea and other botanical elements replenish essential minerals and antioxidants. A stress relieving head, face & scalp massage tops off this treatment.

Gallatin Restoration
This incredible journey begins with a foot soak followed by a hibiscus and sea salt body scrub. We then wrap you in a cocoon while you soak in the benefits of a coconut milk-infused mineral mask. A beautiful full body massage completes this decadent experience.

Organic Bliss Body Treatment – Return to your natural essence and feel exhilarated after this oxygen infusing treatment. The skin is caressed and exfoliated by an advanced blend of natural linen, enzymes & vitamin C that will gently peel away dead skin cells.
